Thanks for the meeting recap, and the work done there! After reviewing it, a couple of points where I can answer:
Camera Enable/Disable Dialog Discussion
Avinash clarified that the camera enable/disable dialog was intended as a setup process prior to starting a flight, not something that should be enabled/disabled mid-flight. He suggested that for the POC, they could simply list the devices without worrying about the actual toggle functionality, as Xavier might have misunderstood the implementation scope.
We discussed it elsewhere, but to answer specifically about the actual toggle functionality, it isn't necessary for it to work for the proof of concept, yes. But it would be useful to have the device connectivity correctly reported.
Waypoint Implementation Investigation
Avinash and Milos discussed the complexity of implementing offline waypoints for flight routes. They explored using open-source geographical data, with Avinash sharing a link to a countries-states-cities database project. The team decided to create an investigation ticket to research the best approach for offline waypoint functionality, considering both city/airport data and integration with map tiles.
For the aeronautical waypoint/location data have a look at
https://www.openaip.net/ - there are other sources but for now that's probably the most complete and simple.
