More info in the MR's comment: https://gitlab.com/whitebox-aero/whitebox/-/merge_requests/191#note_2934047… HLS seems to work quite well - `hls.js` is even bundled into VideoJS since v7. I've combined it with Pannellum and they both work well. I think I found a way to leverage it to provide both continuous live streaming, irrelevant of the flight sessions, and a separate recording during the flight session, with basically no cost to the CPU, more info as I go. #445 - https://gitlab.com/whitebox-aero/whitebox/-/issues/445 Reviewed the code without running it, maps still downloading

Then, I opened a new MR to fix some doc issues. On the same MR, comments were addressed by implementing sub_filter for nginx, and it's now being merged. #440 https://gitlab.com/whitebox-aero/whitebox/-/issues/440 Tested my own MR and found issues with creating AP. Investigated but couldn’t find the cause yet. Will try Ubuntu’s native AP setup tomorrow. #445 https://gitlab.com/whitebox-aero/whitebox/-/issues/445 Reviewing and learning more about MapLibre and how it works. Currently, we download the world map. So, researched approaches for downloading/extracting sub-regions, etc. The implementation would require a lot of changes since it’s currently built directly in the frontend rather than the plugin. I am assuming this is more of a POC and not an actual merge candidate? Please confirm so I can review accordingly. We need to find a way to split this, though that'll likely mean we host it ourselves? Yes, we will definitely need to automate the download & split the source data by country or region. There are a few things like that that will need polish, it's just a draft MR at this point. Hey, !194 https://gitlab.com/whitebox-aero/whitebox/-/merge_requests/194 Investigated and experimented with different approaches, implemented the best solution, and it’s now ready for review. It looks really nice tbh! In the future, we’ll be incentivised to write much more detailed READMEs for plugins since this will become part of the main docs - currently they’re very basic. It’ll be great to see everything from the capabilities they export, to models, URL paths, and more, all in one place, with the ability to identify which plugin is responsible for what easily.
